Good food made simple – all the flavor and tender care with a little less fuss. We are a locally owned neighborhood food spot in the heart of St. Boniface serving up fresh quality comfort food in a cozy surrounding well suited for great conversation.

OUR CHEF

Melissa Hryb, loves food and serving her customers. Cooking has been in her blood since childhood and she started her professional cooking career at the age of 14. After attending Culinary Arts at Red River College she embarked on a culinary adventure including numerous competitions, world travel and plenty of fine dining training. She has come full circle back to her roots of cooking comfort food in a local eatery and loves the less pretentious approach to food and hospitality.

OUR GENERAL MANAGER

Laneil Smith, grew up in the Marion Hotel as her family has owned the property for over 30 plus years. Her passion for the service industry started at a young age while helping in the family business. She attending Hospitality and Tourism Management at Red River College and went on to gain experience in fine dining restaurants and catering. Her love of building relationships in the community prompted her to open a small eatery within the family business and in her favorite neighborhood, St. Boniface.

Both our Kitchen and serving staff are carefully chosen to represent us and our vision. We are passionate about giving our customers the best experience during each visit. We are in the business of food and people, thus we do our best to provide a friendly work environment where our staff enjoy working each day. Our goal is to mentor and prepare them for future work experiences.
