Q: What are your hours?
A: Mon-Sat 8am-4pm, Sun 8am-2pm (full breakfast menu till 11am every day).
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located inside the Marion Hotel at 393 Marion Street. There is a parking lot in the back with much space, and the back door is wheelchair accessible. We ask that you do not park in our neighbours parking lot, as they need their space as well.
Q: Do we need reservations?
A: No, it is just first come, first serve.
Q: Are you open for dine in?
A: Yes, we are open for dine in. We do require that you show proof of vaccination if you are over the age of 12. This includes any card or papers from your province or state, along with photo ID with the same names.
Q: Do you offer take out?
A: Yes, we do offer take out. We ask that you call roughly 20 minutes before you’d like to pick up your order. We do not accept pre-orders. Please know if our dining room is extremely busy, we may give a longer wait time, or may not be able to accept your order. This is due to our small kitchen and only being able to accommodate so many orders at a time. All breakfast items (minus the eggs benny) are available till 11am, all brunch/lunch items are available after 11am.
Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: No, we do not offer delivery.
Q: Why are you not on a delivery service?
A: One of our main focuses at the Eatery is about having a great dining experience. Ultimately this leads us to focusing on our dining room first and foremost. Having a small kitchen does limit how many orders we can accommodate at any time. Therefore, we are unable to accept more orders from these types of delivery services as it would drastically impact everyone’s wait time for food (both in our dining room, and for possible deliveries). We want your food from us to be at its peak, and that isn’t always the case for delivery. We also choose to avoid the additional fees that come along with these services. If we were to accept these fees, we would need to increase our prices which no one ever likes to see.
Q: Can you accommodate large groups?
A: We do our best to accommodate for large groups. However, because we do not take reservations, have a small dining room, and not many large tables, it can be more difficult. Large groups over 6 may encounter a longer wait time (especially during peak hours).
Q: Do you have a seating time limit?
A: We do ask that you keep your visit to roughly 2 hours. We will only implement this limit if we have a large wait at the door.
Q: Are you family friendly?
A: Most definitely! We have a kid’s menu for breakfast and lunch, along with some colouring books to keep them entertained during a wait. We also have highchairs and booster seats if needed.
Q: Do you offer free WiFi?
A: Yes! Just ask your server for the password and we’ll hook you up!
Q: Do you still sell Take & Make or Grocery items?
A: We do not have Take & Make or Grocery items in the Eatery, but you can still find some available through Good Local, along with our jams at Oma’s Bakeshop.
Q: Why does your menu always change?
A: Recently, due to the times we have had to be changing our menu accordingly due to multiple factors. Regularly, we do like to change our menu seasonally to be featuring the best products at the best times. Plus, we never want our kitchen to be bored, and they love the chance to get to create new dishes.
Q: Do you offer specials?
A: We do have a happy hour from 2pm-4pm everyday. Plus, we do our best to offer lunch and/or breakfast specials when possible.
Q: Do you rent out the Eatery?
A: No, we do not currently rent out the Eatery for events. The Marion Hotel does have a large hall the rent out, you can message to inquire.
